DENTSPLY Friadent Student Poster Award
As a leading manufacturer of dental implants, DENTSPLY Friadent feels particularly responsible for the implantological education of dental students. Therefore, the company supports the AAED consensus conference of European professors in Prague for the definition of standards for implantological education and acts as one of two cooperation partners of i.lect, the program for structured implantological education of students at the University of Erlangen/DE. Having already offered the opportunity of submitting posters to students within the framework of the DENTSPLY Friadent World Symposium 2008, DENTSPLY Friadent will grant the first DENTSPLY Friadent Student Poster Award 2010 in Barcelona.
Five student posters are selected for an oral presentation (7 minutes) in English during the DENTSPLY Friadent World Symposium. A jury will award the first prize from these presentations. The Student Poster Award is endowed with prize money of €1,000 for the winner.
EJOI and DENTSPLY Friadent Scientific Poster Award
With the common announcement of the “EJOI and DENTSPLY Friadent Scientific Poster Award” the European Journal of Oral Implantology and DENTSPLY Friadent confirm their common ambition to encourage and to further develop scientific research in implantology.
This award for scientific posters will be conferred in two categories: Clinical Studies and Basic Research. Five posters from each category will be selected for an oral presentation (7 minutes) in English during the DENTSPLY Friadent World Symposium 2010. An independent scientific committee will award the first prizes in each category from these presentations. The winners will repeat their oral presentation in the Auditorium. The winner of each category will be selected to participate free-of-charge at the ADA Congress 2010 in the USA, where the international DENTSPLY research award will be conferred.
DENTSPLY Friadent Poster Award – Case Report
As a matter of course we will continue the successful tradition of case report posters for practitioners in 2010 and we invite you to submit reports of interesting cases in the form of posters. Nine case reports (2nd prizes) will be selected for an oral presentation (7 minutes) in the Case Report session during the DENTSPLY Friadent World Symposium 2010. The presenter of the best Case Report (1st prize) will present a short lecture in the Auditorium.
