DENTSPLY Friadent: dialog between research and practice

Remaining in daily contact with well-known research institutions and practitioners all over the world – that is our goal. Innovations that advance implantology anywhere in the world and products on which implantologists and patients all over the world rely are possible only with continuing dialog: clinically proven, confirmed by studies and under continuous development.

Support of experimental, preclinical and clinical research projects as part of our exchange with research is just as important for DENTSPLY Friadent as the promotion of the next generation of implantologists. As one example of our support for the next generation in implantology, a new teaching chair for prosthetic dentistry was established in 2007 in cooperation with the Catholic University of Louvain (KU Leuven), Materialise Dental and DENTSPLY Friadent. And since the end of 2009 DENTSPLY Friadent has also been supporting the training of dental students at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

We have a special interest in the scientific and clinical documentation of DENTSPLY Friadent products and technologies. We support the publication of your results in the form of a poster or as an oral presentation at German and international conferences. See the next page for more information.
