Esthetically outstanding results with the new ANKYLOS C/X and XiVE custom abutments by Compartis

DENTSPLY Friadent is once again setting the pace in the area of implantology with a successful partnership – this time, together with DeguDent. The new ANKYLOS C/X and XiVE custom abutments by Compartis can be customized and designed perfectly for the patient's individual requirements. These are new additions to the proven standard abutments for XiVE and ANKYLOS implant systems with a high degree of precision and esthetics. The new implant abutments can be virtually designed in the laboratory. The compiled data are sent directly for production with a single click and are used as the precise foundation for fabricating perfectly fitting implant abutments adapted for the patient.

Successful treatment with customized implant solutions
In developing customized abutments, particular emphasis has always been placed on esthetically perfect results. With the Cercon eye Scanner for precise data capture and the Cercon art CAD program from DeguDent, the angulation and shape of the abutment can be designed as desired based on a CAD proposal, for example with reduced a tooth form similar to a prepared tooth stump. The implant abutments are manufactured to the highest possible degree of accuracy with the connection geometry in accordance with the original ANKYLOS and XiVE dimensions, which enables a fitting accuracy on the implant equal to that of prefabricated abutments. The soft tissues can also be easily naturally shaped directly following uncovery using the XiVE or ANKYLOS custom abutment. This leads to greater stability of the soft tissues and an esthetically satisfactory result. The work is also made much easier by the greatly increased flexibility. Because the customized abutments can be milled exactly in accordance with customer's requirements, they do not require remachining and can be placed directly into the patient's mouth after delivery.
