04.06.2008 | DENTSPLY Friadent starts XiVE Implant Challenge for implantologists in Germany.

The range of continuing medical education course is very broad. But what courses teach and challenge participants simultaneously? Starting in June 2008 DENTSPLY Friadent will be offering the XiVE Implant Challenge tour in six regional events throughout Germany. Participants in the tour will face both implantological and physical challenges. The scientific continuing education courses for implantologists will cover puzzling and complex cases, equipping graduates to resolve seemingly impossible challenges in their everyday work. After the course participants in the XiVE course will be given the opportunity to test their own personal limits in mountain-biking, rock-climbing, go-kart racing, or sled-dog racing.

Practical experience of the limits
Fourteen well-known and experienced presenters will demonstrate in the two-day courses how to manage clinical cases from planing to prosthetics and how to achieve top results even when the initial conditions are unfavorable. Topics can cover fields such as primary stability in borderline situations, narrow gaps and esthetics, immediate loading and immediate restoration, and guided surgery in difficult initial situations. All courses in the tour are XiVE events only, which will include practical, hands-on work and in some cases live operations.

After the challenge is before the challenge
After the high-quality continuing education course participants can expect an exciting program of events. They will be able to explore their own personal limits with XiVE - in activities such as a mountain-bike rally, rock-climbing tour, go-kart racing, off-road tour in four-wheel drives, driver safety training, or sled-dog racing.
